A balloon spider stretches across the water of an empty outdoor pool on Halloween night. Large black spheres form the body, while segmented legs curve down toward weighted clusters along the deck. The contrast between matte and glossy balloons gives the oversized handmade sculpture a playful physical presence.

Warm lights reflect in the turquoise water, and pale changing cubicles frame the far side of the pool. Folded orange umbrellas and empty benches preserve the familiar setting beneath the unusual decoration. The broad view includes the dark tiled foreground and autumn trees above, showing how a simple public leisure space can hold an elaborate seasonal installation.
