A dollhouse opens five rooms to the night
Published · Updated
A dollhouse stands at full scale beside the meadow, its open front revealing five differently furnished rooms. Warm lamps turn the glowing rooms into small stages of coral, mint, lavender and deep blue. Visible floor beams and an internal stair hold the arrangement together beneath a simple pitched roof.
For Halloween, paper bats cross the openings and pale gauze ghosts hang from fixed hooks. Large orange rosettes add another playful layer among the furniture. The surrounding grass and bare orchard branches stay dark as evening settles, making the interior colors seem especially vivid. A broad three-quarter view shows both the building’s depth and its unusual exposed rooms, combining familiar household details with the surprise of a theatrical outdoor installation.
