A peacock costume fills the staircase of a tall library with an enormous fan of feathers. Blue and bronze eye markings radiate from the center, while slender supports give the theatrical shape a clear structure. The wearer’s deep teal velvet dress and black feather trim continue the colors beneath the sweeping tail.

She pauses on the stair with a light expression, surrounded by wooden balusters and shelves of dark books. Emerald drapes and hanging paper birds add further decoration for the evening gathering. Warm lamps meet cool window light across the feathers, revealing fine textures while preserving the grandeur of the library around the costume.
