A seal rests beside the ocean
Published · Updated
A seal rests on a low shelf of wet pebbles beside the ocean. Silver and charcoal mottling covers its short coat, while a dark muzzle, pale whiskers and folded neck make the animal’s features easy to see. Its body follows the curve of the shore with flippers resting naturally beside it.
Beyond the seal, black rocks lead toward a breaking turquoise wave and distant cliffs. Light catches the moving spray and the smooth stones nearest the camera, bringing different textures into the same coastal view. A broad cloud bank gives the open water scale, leaving the calm animal as a quiet focus within the active shore.
