Broomball pass crosses the snowy woodland rink
Published · Updated
A broomball pass begins beside a bright orange ball on a woodland rink. The nearer player leans into a small step, guiding a red triangular broom head toward the ball. Her friend waits farther back with a blue head lowered near the ice. Both smile as they follow the same point of play.
Broad navy, cream and yellow bands connect their jerseys while keeping the two outfits distinct. Black gloves wrap around the wooden shafts, and rubber-soled shoes meet the scratched blue surface. Protective helmets and thin face cages frame their expressions. The full standing figures and clear space between them make the gentle movement easy to follow.
White rink boards, a yellow lower strip and a red goal give the game a familiar setting. Beyond the mesh fence, tall pine branches carry fresh snow. Low sunlight arrives through the trees and stretches long shadows across the ice. The photograph balances the bright ball and colorful equipment with the quieter winter landscape, turning a small recreational exchange into a scene with depth.
