Carp Streamers Fill the River Sky
Published · Updated
Carp streamers fill the river sky in long rows of red, cobalt, green, pink and gold. The closest fabric fish windsocks show circular open mouths, painted eyes and overlapping scale patterns. Their split tails lift in the breeze, while visible cables connect the installation across the water. Smaller rows continue upstream and create a strong sense of festival scale.
Cherry blossoms line the grassy banks beneath the flying shapes. Sunlight passes through the thin fabric and scatters broken colors across the moving river. Stone retaining walls, exposed rocks and foreground grass keep the view grounded in a real outdoor setting. The painted fish scales remain decorative patterns, with no lettering interrupting the bold colors or the airy movement above the water.
