Fairy wings bring a spectacular shimmer to an ordinary stop at a quiet petrol pump. The iridescent costume wings stretch widely behind the woman, with dark vein lines dividing their blue, green and violet surfaces. A lavender petal skirt, ruffled collar and turquoise waist bow connect the bright frame to the rest of her outfit.

She holds the nozzle at the cream scooter's open fuel filler while keeping the raised seat steady with her other hand. The practical action gives the elaborate costume an unexpected setting. Warm overhead light catches tiny wrinkles in the wing material, while twilight cools the rural background. The full view keeps the scooter, wide wings and plain mint pump clearly connected.
