A father and daughter turn hide and seek into a laughing game on a rainy afternoon. He peeks around a lemon patterned screen, but one burgundy sock gives away his position below it. His daughter points toward the exposed foot, smiling in an orange dress covered with small animal silhouettes and soft cream tights.

A green velvet sofa, floral cushions and a worn patterned rug make the sitting room feel inviting. The rainy window brings cool light into the room while a small table lamp adds a warm glow behind the screen. Their amused expressions and the deliberately unsuccessful hiding place carry the story across the whole room.
