A garment conveyor curves through the night
Published · Updated
A garment conveyor turns an ordinary storage room into an unusual canopy of clothes. The overhead clothing rail curves through the space in a broad loop, carrying separate hangers along its metal track. Colorful wool coats mingle with quilted, checked and softly textured garments, creating a sequence of red, cobalt, mustard, green and pink. Their hanging sleeves give the sweep a soft irregular edge.
The low viewpoint follows the machinery above the empty storage aisle. Upright supports, small carriages and the rounded return bend keep its construction visible. Warm practical lamps pick out fabric textures against the deeper wall color. The quiet room offers an after-hours view of a working system.
