Giant Eyes in the Halloween Tree
Published · Updated
Giant eyes give the Halloween tree a comic watchful expression above the garden path. The two inflatable eyeballs sit among broad branches, their panel seams and glossy pupils clearly visible. Violet tree lighting brushes the bark while amber lanterns illuminate fallen leaves and gravel below. Smaller pairs of paper eyes hang from the ivy wall and extend the joke along the walkway.
The lantern-lit path bends toward an open wooden door in the far stone wall. Beyond it, another patch of blue evening light suggests that the garden continues out of sight. The enormous oak, modest doorway and small paper decorations provide different scales within the same view. Real fabric, bark and cords keep the playful creature recognizable as an ambitious handmade Halloween installation.
