A giraffe interrupts a parcel delivery in this surprising courtyard scene. The courier and the woman at the window are about to exchange a paper parcel when a curious giraffe reaches toward the loose twine between them. Their attention shifts to the animal, turning a routine handover into a shared moment of surprise.

Open shutters, an ochre wall and climbing flowers frame the upper interaction, while the giraffe's long legs remain visible below. A broad stair landing explains how the courier reaches the window. The vertical composition connects those different heights instead of cropping them away. Familiar objects supply the story: a package, a sill and a small dangling string that has caught an unexpected visitor's interest.
