A lobster costume makes an ordinary bread purchase memorable. The customer receives a baguette through the bakery hatch while his real hands emerge from the enormous padded claws. A wicker basket hangs at his side, and the baker shares an amused smile. Soft antennae and a segmented belly keep the costume clearly handmade and playful.

The turquoise shopfront, warm lamps and baskets of fresh bread place the encounter in a familiar neighborhood. Red fabric stands out against the cool paint and damp paving, with seams and folds giving the oversized shape real weight. The wider composition includes the whole costume, both faces and the small exchange that connects them.
