Rainbow eucalyptus trunks rise through the forest
Published · Updated
Rainbow eucalyptus trunks rise through dense greenery, their peeling surfaces revealing irregular strips of green, rust, amber and dusty rose. The nearest trunk sweeps upward from the lower edge, showing thin lifted bark and shallow creases at close range. Smaller trunks repeat the color farther into the forest.
Ferns, broad leaves and damp earth fill the lower view beneath a high canopy. Small patches of pale sky appear between the leaves, while soft side light brings out wet surfaces without flattening their texture. The low angle places the viewer among the trees, balancing the striking bark detail with the depth and varied growth of the surrounding woodland.
