The cranberry harvest draws sweeping red shapes across a flooded field. Dense floating berries gather behind curved booms, leaving broad channels of blue water between them. From above, the harvest becomes a vivid pattern of fruit, reflections and carefully divided sections rather than a close view of a single crop.

A worker in a plaid shirt and dark waterproof waders guides a long-handled rake along one edge. The small figure gives scale to the bright bands while a line of copper trees marks the far boundary. Fine ripples and variations in the berries preserve the physical detail within the wider geometry of the autumn field.
