A bonsai forest turns red beside the window
Published · Updated
A bonsai forest turns crimson beside a circular window, with several slender trunks rising from one mossy mound. Fine branches hold layers of tiny pointed maple leaves above a shallow dark tray. Sunlight passes through the foliage, bringing coral highlights into the deeper red crowns and revealing their miniature structure.
The table-height view includes exposed roots, a few fallen leaves and plain pruning scissors that help establish scale. A watering can sits farther back against the quiet plaster wall, while the window opens toward softer gold garden trees. The rounded light across the dark table connects the carefully tended forest with the larger autumn garden outside.
