A giant tangram spreads across the stone floor of a generous courtyard. One sister holds a loose blue triangle while the other points toward the arrangement, smiling as they work out where it belongs. Coral, ochre and teal pieces meet at different angles, with a few shapes still separate. The courtyard puzzle gives the girls a shared task large enough to move around together.

Above them, a folded canopy stretches between substantial timber posts. Metal brackets, crosspieces and tension cables make the sweeping canvas structure easy to understand. Light filters through the pale cloth, softening the shadows on the paving below. The large folds overhead echo the smaller straight edges and triangles on the ground without repeating their bright colors.

Nasturtiums tumble from raised planters beside grasses and small trees. Stone steps connect the open play area with a quieter terrace, and a distant strip of water appears beyond the planting. The girls' different clothes and relaxed postures give the grand setting a familiar scale. The portrait view holds the whole activity and much of the canopy in one frame, making it useful for a mobile background or a story about playful gardens, siblings and creative afternoons outdoors.
