A pink staircase folds through the open courtyard
Published · Updated
A pink staircase folds through a tall white courtyard in two connected flights. Its angular side profiles follow the actual treads, and thin vertical railings continue around the landing. Warm terracotta paving below adds another soft color beneath the pale painted metal.
Morning shadows stretch across the opposite wall, repeating the railing's rhythm in a much larger pattern. A plain doorway sits beneath the stairs, and a leafy tree in a clay pot gives the open space a familiar scale. The diagonal upward view includes the lower flight, turning platform and a wedge of blue sky. Crisp sunlight separates plaster, metal and paving, keeping the unusual stair shape grounded in a clear architectural setting.
