Beach kite buggy beneath the orange canopy
Published · Updated
A beach kite buggy carries its rider across firm sand beneath a large orange foil kite. Thin taut lines connect the curved canopy to two separate control handles. The seated rider keeps his gloved hands steady and looks along the beach, with a small smile visible beneath the edge of his navy helmet.
Turquoise and magenta panels brighten his black windbreaker. Bent legs reach forward toward the steering frame, and gray shoes rest near the front wheel assembly. Metal tubes, a black fabric seat and broad rubber tires give the low vehicle a practical shape. Fresh tracks and a little blur close to the sand suggest its continuing movement.
Sea stacks rise beyond a strip of white surf, while a wooded headland recedes along the opposite side of the beach. The kite occupies the upper sky without losing its connection to the rider below. Orange fabric catches direct sunlight against clear blue, with cream panels marking the canopy edge. The tall view holds the whole chain of action, from wind-filled cloth down through the lines to wheels on wet sand.
