A bucket drum kit turns a few ordinary containers into a cheerful backyard instrument. The boy holds yellow drumsticks above two red buckets, with a large blue bucket resting sideways in a wooden support. Beside him, his father raises a small shaker and smiles along with the beat.

A shallow metal pan on a simple white stand adds another sound to the homemade arrangement. The weathered buckets show scuffs and dusty marks that suit the practical construction. Behind the musicians, climbing roses and a garden shed make a leafy backdrop, while dappled afternoon light falls across their striped clothes and the grass.
