Bus stop bubbles make a quiet evening wait into a small contest between three friends. They sit along a red bench beneath a blue shelter, each holding a pale pink gum bubble at the lips and watching the others. A lime daisy cardigan, blue and cream geometric polo and pink jacket with a scalloped collar give each person a distinct shape and color.

Their hands rest naturally on their laps above dark trousers and pleated skirts. Rain beads on the shelter glass, while the wet road and fallen leaves catch light beyond the bench. The wide framing leaves room for the empty surroundings, balancing the friends' amused expressions with the calm of a damp autumn evening.
