Colored glass circles brighten the garden wall
Published · Updated
Colored glass circles brighten the earthen garden wall beside a quiet path. Green and turquoise disks mix with clear pieces and amber light, their uneven glass surfaces set within rough plaster. The circles vary in size beneath a low terracotta tile coping.
Soft tinted patches fall across the gravel and pale stepping stones, following the low sunlight behind the wall. Rosemary and fine grasses grow along its base, while an open timber doorway leads into more planting at the far end. A plain bench rests nearby in the shade. The oblique view follows the boundary's gentle curve and makes the contrast between rippled glass, coarse plaster and small gravel grains easy to see.
