A crokinole party brings three guests back to a wooden game board. One woman places her fingertip against a pale disk as the other two watch with amused concentration. The polished surface has fine circular lines, a small central hole and eight dark pegs, all contained by a raised wooden rail. Black and pale disks give the action a clear visual focus.

Animal party masks add a lighthearted detail to the Halloween gathering. A rabbit mask sits above the first woman's face, while her friend holds a dog mask beside her shoulder. Copper satin, a loose gold tie and a dotted teal dress distinguish the three outfits. Warm paper lanterns, yellow brickwork and tall blue doors place the game within a lively community room.
