Fireflies trace the secret forest floor
Published · Updated
Fireflies trace small golden lights through a cool blue forest clearing. Nearer points soften into small glows, while finer marks appear deeper among the trunks. Short curved trails suggest movement without hiding the dark foliage and rough bark that give the scene its natural structure.
Ferns, moss and fallen branches form a layered floor beneath the insects. A shallow still puddle catches a few warm points near the foreground, with the last sky light filtering through the distant canopy. The balance of tiny moving lights and broad shadowed surfaces makes the clearing feel secluded, leaving space for the forest itself to remain visible around the activity.
