A flower teapot costume meets an unexpectedly narrow gap at the garden gate. The girl turns the oversized paper teapot sideways while her father holds the opening and gently guides its loop handle. Her smiling face rises above the rounded shell, with a small lid-shaped hat completing the playful outfit.

Large peach paper flowers and painted blue-green leaves cover the white costume. The curved spout reaches outward on the opposite side, making the costume garden entrance a little puzzle for the pair. Asters and small pumpkin lanterns sit beyond the wooden gate. The wide diagonal view keeps their full bodies, the bulky craft and the shared reaction visible together.
