A giant watering can pours garden lights
Published · Updated
A giant watering can tilts above a circular flower bed, pouring strands of warm light from its long spout. The metal body has ribbed sides, riveted seams and a broad oval handle. Steel chains and a sturdy frame hold the oversized decoration visibly above the flowers.
Individual lamps hang along fine wires that descend into red celosia, orange marigolds and violet asters. Damp gravel catches small warm reflections below, while dark hedges and a brick potting shed provide quieter shapes behind the display. Blue evening light across the garden makes the glowing strands clear, turning a familiar watering shape into an elaborate physical garden decoration.
