Handstand Count beside the Autumn Steps
Published · Updated
A handstand count turns a quiet corner of the park into a shared challenge. One brother balances upside down on a dark green mat while the other watches with two fingers raised. Curved park steps sweep behind them in pale bands, and autumn trees fill the space above with yellow and copper leaves. Their attention stays on the balance and the count.
The younger brother's palms spread firmly against the mat, with his arms straight and feet together overhead. His teal top remains tucked into navy trousers. Beside him, the standing brother wears a broad mustard and navy striped shirt with a white collar, olive trousers and brown shoes. Their different positions make the simple exchange easy to follow.
Narrow strips of grass separate the concrete tiers. Ornamental grasses and red brick houses appear beyond the steps, giving the recreation area a familiar neighborhood setting. Fallen leaves scatter across both lawn and paving, while soft sunlight catches the edges of hair and clothing. The generous view holds the full bodies, the padded landing surface and the surrounding park in one relaxed autumn scene.
