A needle felt fox takes shape between two friends at a wooden table. The younger woman holds a fine tool above the small orange figure while her other hand steadies it on a dark foam pad. Her companion offers a wisp of white wool with an encouraging smile. Their attention meets at the fox’s fuzzy chest and pointed face.

The rainy sitting room layers soft materials around the activity. A lilac blouse contrasts with a forest green patterned cardigan, and broad charcoal trousers sit beside a long brown corduroy skirt. Loose wool gathers in a wicker basket and across a folded cloth. A ceramic mug and shallow bowl occupy the table without crowding the central work.

Raindrops cover the window behind them, with pale pink flowers visible outside. Warm lamplight reaches the old chest of drawers, stacked quilts and glazed pottery. Below the table, a golden dog rests on the floral rug with its head between its paws. The broad view connects the tiny handmade animal to the comfortable shared afternoon, preserving both the focused hands and the room’s many quieter textures.
