An oobleck experiment brings an unexpected pale surface into a brick courtyard. One participant steps through a shallow tray of cornstarch slurry while a friend waits beside it with a towel. The lifted foot and the marks left in the mixture supply the small physical details around which the photograph is arranged. Their expressions make the demonstration feel like a shared discovery.

A low view gives the tray depth and keeps the participants connected to the space around them. Patterned knitwear and the nearby dress add contrasting color, while the demonstration tables provide context beyond the main action. The photograph captures one visible instant in the experiment, with ripples and traces of mixture carrying the story across the foreground.
