Paper castle grows from the folded card
Published · Updated
A paper castle grows from a folded card spread across the wooden desk. Tall pointed towers rise behind shorter battlements, while narrow bridges and stepped staircases join the different levels. Sunlight passes through cut-out windows and small archways, turning the pale paper walls into layers of light and shadow.
The scissors, ruler and loose offcuts keep the scale connected to a working table. Fine paper edges remain visible around the doorways and crenellations, with a rolled cutting mat behind the model. Warm color from the room contrasts with the ivory structure, and the low viewpoint lets an intricate tabletop creation fill the scene like a much larger place.
