Pom pom racing has brought two boys down to floor level for a homemade contest. They rest on their elbows and use paper straws to blow bright wool balls toward cardboard tunnels. One orange ball and one pink ball mark the two courses. Patterned knitwear, colorful socks and their concentrated expressions give the players distinct characters without distracting from the simple game.

Blue tape lanes run toward the camera across the polished wooden boards. The low viewpoint makes the short paper arches seem larger and leads back to the boys' faces. Tall turquoise doors and soft daylight open up the community room behind them. Reflections on the floor show the texture of tape and card. The scene turns a few everyday materials into a shared challenge, with progress measured a small puff at a time.
