A rainy basketball court holds the sunset in a shallow puddle beneath an empty hoop. Peach and pink clouds appear again in the water, where the backboard and weathered turquoise support form a second, inverted structure. Fallen maple leaves bring autumn color close to the low viewpoint.

The puddle reflection occupies much of the foreground, but the fence, brick boundary and tree line keep the wider place visible. A curved white court marking leads through the damp blue surface. This autumn sports court feels still between games, with small ripples and rough patches of paint adding texture to the broad mirrored sky.
