Red chilies dry across the stone terrace
Published · Updated
Red chilies spread across woven drying mats on a sunlit stone terrace. Their curled, tapered forms create dense crimson patches within the pale rectangular borders. One mat near the foreground is only partly covered, exposing its straw-colored weave beside a shallow wicker basket.
The mats follow the broad terrace steps, leaving strips of paving between the harvest. Low light catches wrinkled pepper skins and rough stone edges, while a vine shades the wooden doorway at the back. Beyond the parapet, layered hills, small fields and a winding stretch of water extend into the distance. The elevated diagonal view connects the repeated drying rectangles with the open valley, balancing vivid red texture against warm, quiet masonry.
