Round funicular cabins climb the snowy slope
Published · Updated
Round funicular cabins follow a steep diagonal rail line across a snowy slope. Their yellow rims frame dark windows, while small warm lights show through the glazing. The four connected cabins sit above a narrow engineered track, with the level floors giving a clear contrast to the incline beneath them.
Beyond the train, a cloud-filled valley stretches toward a sharply outlined mountain peak. Snow-covered fir trees mark the hillside and bring a dark pattern to the broad white scene. Concrete supports and steel rails remain visible below the vehicle, grounding its unusual shape within the landscape. The high viewpoint reveals both the compact repeated circles and the immense distance behind them. Cool morning light and a few warm cabin reflections make the ascent feel quiet, precise and expansive.
