A salon hand game makes two friends laugh while their hair rollers stay in place beneath orange hood dryers. One woman holds a closed fist and the other an open palm, revealing the result of a quick round of rock-paper-scissors between their cream chairs. A teal daisy dress and a coral checked dress give the pair distinct patterns and silhouettes.

The elevated view follows the checkerboard floor around the chrome chair bases and dryer stands. Rolled towels, combs and small green plants line the mint wall behind them. Their faces remain visible below the lifted clear hoods, and the bright rollers, polished metal and soft daylight give an ordinary waiting moment a lively retro character.
