The Felt Boulder Garden Lounge
Published · Updated
Rounded wool seats fill this garden lounge with the shapes of smooth river stones. Ivory, grey and charcoal forms sit on moss coloured rugs, while curved chairs rise behind the lower upholstered pieces. Their visible seams and uneven wool surfaces give each shape a soft, tactile presence. Small dark tables carry candles and simple bowls between the seats.
Pale timber beams climb into a steep roof crossed by long glazed openings. The same pale wood frames the walls of glass, through which slender trees, ferns and autumn leaves disappear into light mist. This tall structure lets the low furniture remain the focus while giving the room an unusually generous sense of height.
Small shaded lamps add warm points of light beside the cool garden view. A large weathered vase holds bare branches near the far windows, and a pale throw falls over one grey chair. The restrained colours and quiet natural textures make the photograph suitable for interiors collections, seasonal mood boards or a calm portrait screen background.
