An office slide brings a burst of laughter into a bright two-level workspace. The curving steel tube descends from a glass-lined mezzanine and opens into a broad smooth runout. A man in a pale blue shirt sits at its lower end with his legs extended above the landing mat, his hands resting naturally beside him as he looks across the room.

Tall windows, pale cabinets and a green planted wall give the playful feature a convincing everyday setting. Soft reflections travel along the brushed metal, emphasizing the slide's shape and connected supports. The full view leaves room for both the person and the architecture, making the unexpected route between floors the center of the photograph.
