Wildflower Paper Canopy

Published · Updated

Giant paper wildflowers sweep beneath the glass roof of a spacious stone hall. White daisies with fringed yellow centres share the canopy with red poppies, blue starburst flowers and pale pink hanging bells. Their creased petals and layered edges reveal the handmade material, while thin stems and support wires connect the forms overhead. The nearest flowers fill the upper view, and smaller-looking blooms continue toward the far arched doorway.

Sunlight passes through the glazing and catches the paper grain, casting faint colour onto the pale floor. Cream stone arches, dark window frames and a curved wooden bench give the installation a generous setting. Planters of autumn foliage and grasses remain low, leaving the hanging flowers clear against the roof. The photograph is useful for large paper craft inspiration, floral event collections and decorative spaces that call for bright colour without visual clutter. Its unusual scale is easy to understand through the doors and seating below, and the delicate paper details keep the oversized forms feeling light.
