Woven play pavilion with secret lookouts

Published · Updated

A woven play pavilion becomes a small lookout for two girls seated inside a colorful net pocket. One points toward the next round passage while the other turns toward her, with the tunnel openings drawing the eye deeper into the structure. Their patterned dresses repeat a few of the pavilion's colors without matching each other.

The net playground remains the larger subject: ochre rims, plum walls and teal sections weave through a tall timber frame. Visible ropes and metal supports explain how the suspended rooms are held in place. Star and leaf details in the patterned dresses add another scale of decoration to the shared pause before exploring farther.
