A pink skull vase gathers the autumn flowers
Published · Updated
A pink skull vase holds an abundant arrangement of burgundy dahlias and pale peach roses. Dark leaves, thin twigs and trailing amaranth extend beyond the central blooms, giving the bouquet a loose asymmetrical shape. The vessel is clearly decorative ceramic, with smooth modeled features and a softly mottled pale surface.
Two striped candles stand in brass holders on the marble console. Their black and cream bands repeat the darker eye sockets and pale stone below. Both candles remain unlit, leaving the window to supply the scene's light. Fallen petals and a mauve cloth break up the polished tabletop with softer edges.
The narrow stained-glass panel carries a red and amber flower above green leaves. Its lead lines add a firm pattern beside the bouquet's irregular stems. Dark botanical wallpaper and a carved frame extend the floral character across the background. The close vertical view gives room to the hanging amaranth and the console's ornate support, building a Halloween arrangement from ordinary flowers, a playful vessel and the textures of an older room.
