A sloth reaches through the rainy canopy
Published · Updated
A sloth reaches toward a leafy branch while hanging beneath thicker mossy wood. Its shaggy gray-brown fur carries a faint green cast, and the pale face remains visible between the extended limb and surrounding leaves. Long curved claws hold the supporting branch as the animal stretches slowly across the gap.
Raindrops cling to coarse fur and gather along the edges of broad green leaves. Diffused daylight filters through the upper canopy, while farther trunks soften into humid shade. The upward viewpoint includes the branches that carry the animal’s weight, keeping the quiet movement connected to the layered forest space rather than isolating it against an empty background.
