A snowy owl skims the winter marsh
Published · Updated
A snowy owl banks low over the marsh with its broad wings held at different angles. Fine dark bars mark the white flight feathers, while a round facial disc frames bright yellow eyes. The tucked body and spread wings give the bird a clear, controlled shape above the ground.
Amber reeds and irregular snow patches fill the lower view, with a few fine crystals lifting near the passing wing. Distant marshland and low hills soften beneath a pale peach sky. The low camera position keeps the bird within its open habitat, balancing sharp feather detail with the wider pattern of cold ground and dry winter stems.
