An airplane home rests among the firs
Published · Updated
An airplane home rests in a forest clearing, its white fuselage and broad wings framed by dark fir trees. Solid supports hold the retired aircraft above the ground, and a timber deck connects to the open entry door by a short stair. Several oval windows glow warmly along the side, giving the unusual structure a quiet sense of occupation.
Two chairs and a leafy plant sit outside beneath the wing line, small details that make the converted space feel domestic. The elevated view also reveals the tail, surrounding woodland and a distant lake below an amber sunset. Weathered seams and soft reflections keep the aircraft's original material character visible within its new setting among the trees.
