Argan Tree Goats Reach the Upper Leaves
Published · Updated
Argan tree goats occupy several levels of a gnarled tree in a dry orchard. A cream goat reaches toward leaves near the upper edge, while a piebald animal stands farther along a broad limb. A tan goat faces across the middle branches, and another pale goat rests its hooves in the lower fork.
The branching limbs remain visible beneath the animals, making their support part of the scene. Rough bark twists upward from a thick rooted trunk, with sparse green leaves allowing light through the canopy. A dark goat stands on the ground below, giving a familiar point of scale beside the elevated group.
Ochre stones and dry grass cover the foreground. Similar trees are spaced across the open land behind, leading toward low patterned hills under a clean blue sky. Warm sunlight separates the coats, horns and trunk ridges without turning the scene into a close animal portrait. The unusual gathering is held within a generous landscape, with the rooted tree linking the dry ground to the higher leaves.
