Bottle room opens toward a sunlit meadow
Published · Updated
A bottle room turns ordinary glass into small pools of green and amber light. Bottle ends sit within thick pale walls, their varied circles following the curve toward an open doorway. A wooden bench and one plum cushion make the empty interior feel ready for a pause.
Glass bottle walls, rough ceiling boards and an uneven brick floor give the space a handmade character. The curved bench follows the wall, leaving the center open and the meadow visible beyond the arch. A small potted plant catches the last light near the doorway. The view invites attention to reused materials and the way a simple shelter can frame the landscape outside it.
