Fresnel Lighthouse Lens in the Last Daylight
Published · Updated
A Fresnel lighthouse lens catches the last daylight in clear rings held within a brass frame. The close, angled view shows one circular center and the adjoining panel, with stacked prisms above and below. Beyond the lantern windows, a narrow sea horizon remains visible beneath a warm band of evening cloud.
Small bolts, rollers and worn paint keep the glass prism detail connected to a physical support. A cream cloth lies on the dark green base, adding a simple sign of care within the coastal lantern room. The pale reflections and amber metal bring color to the machinery without hiding the rings or the water outside.
