Chrysanthemum cascades fill a glasshouse
Published · Updated
Chrysanthemum cascades fill a glasshouse with sweeping layers of red, coral, gold and creamy white. Individual flower heads remain visible within the densely trained forms, with green stems and small leaves appearing between them. Curved frames and discreet supports give the elaborate display its wave-like shape.
A red cascade approaches the ornamental pond, where the flowers return as a darker reflection. White and golden mounds rise beyond it beneath tall palms and a delicate glass roof. Late light reaches through the structure and catches the humid air, connecting the vivid planted forms with the much larger indoor garden that surrounds the exhibition.
