Graduation Tower Drips over the Thorn Wall
Published · Updated
A graduation tower drips over a dense thorn wall beside an empty wet stone walkway. Weathered posts rise through the tangled brushwood, with diagonal timber braces repeating toward a small roofed structure at the far end. Fine droplets catch the side light along the upper edge before continuing down through the rough dark surface.
Large bolts, horizontal foot beams and masonry bases make the supporting structure clear. The wet twigs have irregular tips and pale mineral-colored edges, while little rivulets lead toward a shallow collecting channel at their base. Smooth bands of moving water contrast with the dry-looking grain on the brighter faces of the timber. Long brace shadows stretch across the uneven paving.
A simple wooden rail follows the outer side of the path. Farther along, an empty bench faces the wall beneath yellow trees, with grass and darker greenery beyond. Soft clouds break up the blue sky above the receding structure. The tall composition keeps the close texture of wood, stone and brushwood within the wider park, making the unusual architecture feel substantial and quietly active.
