A timber grain elevator rises above the field
Published · Updated
A timber grain elevator rises above golden stubble beneath a dark cloud bank. Its tall main body narrows through stepped shoulders to a small upper building with a pitched roof. Weathered red boards cover the broad walls, with pale worn streaks and a few small dark openings.
A lower attached shed extends to one side, while a separate cream outbuilding stands farther across the field. Low sunlight warms the timber and cut stalks, leaving the gravel approach in deeper shade. The wide view gives the angular tower room against the sky and preserves the flat scale of the surrounding land. Rough stones, short dry stems and simple roof lines keep the scene grounded in its agricultural setting.
