Illuminated Palace Garden at Blue Hour
Published · Updated
An illuminated palace garden stretches beside a long reflecting canal at blue hour. Copper-colored domes rise above pale walls, scalloped arches and delicate lattice windows. Warm lights reveal the balconies and covered galleries, while slender trees break up the broad façade.
Lanterns stand along the water beside clipped hedges and beds of white and pink flowers. Their reflections extend across the canal in narrow bands of gold. Dark foliage fills the near corner, contrasting with the glowing architecture and deep blue sky. The empty setting leaves the sequence of arches, domes and garden paths clearly visible.
