A Moth Projection Lights the Forest Path
Published · Updated
A moth projection lights a patch of rough tree bark beside a dark autumn path. Its tawny wings and eye-like markings remain within the broad trunk, while the bark's ridges break up the image beneath the light. A small projector on a stand is visible at the lower left, grounding the unusual sight in a physical installation.
Beyond the illuminated tree, tall trunks and golden leaves recede into the night. Low lamps trace a quiet route through the fallen foliage, giving the scene depth without filling every corner with light. The restrained pool of projected color becomes a discovery along the path. Shadow, textured bark and the narrow beam make the surrounding forest as important as the artwork itself.
